CASTANGIA
Exclusivity, prestige, excellence: these are the first elements that have been a constant in our evolution since 1850. In the modern factory where Castangia’s creations are born today, seventy master tailors shape the fabric to create tailor-made suits for the most important personalities from all over the world. An artisanal workmanship that only after thousands of stitches, skilled weaving, careful applications, accurate manual finishing and patient iron passages, reaches the absolute harmony of the whole, combining the individual parts in a key concept: the assiduous research of perfection. It takes twenty hours of work to make a Castangia dress. A time that passes quickly on the hands of our watches, thanks to the passion that binds us to our haute couture creations that bring Made in Italy excellence to the world.

MATTEO PERIN
Matteo Perin is an Italian designer who creates bespoke, luxury items for an array of international celebrities, business leaders, and the like. Each item, whether formal wardrobe, leisure wear, or accessory, is entirely customized for the specific client alone – conceptualized from initial rough sketch to completed design. Matteo’s designs are not for the masses; rather, they are for the fashion elite whose desire for truly one-of-a-kind style and private, individualized service is of paramount importance. And where cost is far from the object.
Matteo prides himself on the intimate relationships he forms with each client. This is partially done through discussion, but also by observation and experience. He considers his clients’ desires and lifestyle in the context of international fashion when creating his works, while also calling on his aesthetic sensibilities and eye for detail.
OCTOBER 19
ALDEN
The Alden Shoe Company was founded in 1884 by Charles H. Alden in Middleborough, Massachusetts. It is difficult to imagine just how active and important the shoe industry was in Massachusetts so long ago. Early New England shoemaking was a trade based upon one craftsman making a pair a day in one room cottages (called "ten footers"). The explosive growth of the shoe industry in eastern Massachusetts at the turn of the century was impressive. Numerous companies were being started, and demand soared as product made its way west and south on newly expanded rail routes.
Charles Alden's factory prospered, adding children's shoes to their offering of men's shoes and custom boots.Alden is now the only original New England shoe and bootmaker remaining of the hundreds who began so long ago. Still a family owned business, still carrying forward a tradition of quality genuine-welted shoemaking that is exceptional in every way.

HICKEY FREEMAN
Two young entrepreneurs named Jacob Freeman and Jeremiah Hickey started Hickey Freeman in the early years of the 20th century. Their plan was to bring high-quality hand-tailoring to men from coast to coast. As they envisioned it, a Hickey Freeman suit would be a testament to both the delicate artistry of hand-craftsmanship and the steady consistency of modern technology.
Their idea turned into an epic American success story. Men of style and achievement have, for generation after generation, turned to Hickey Freeman for authenticity and quality, elegance and innovation. They still do.
